Submission to the National Health Performance Authority's Review of Performance and Accountability Framework Indicators - December 2015

This submission by PCA to the National Health Performance Authority responds to the Review of Performance and Accountability Framework Indicators. PCA highlights that there is a gap in the indicators as none measure the quality of provision of end-of-life care. PCA suggests the inclusion of several indicators, including the proportion of patients with a documented advance care plan, and the proportion of people who received palliative care where their cause of death was a chronic disease.
