Submission to the MBS Nurse Practitioner Review - June 2019

A submission by PCA, which responds to the Report from the Nurse Practitioner Reference Group to the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) Review Task Force. PCA supports measures that will improve access to appropriate palliative care by trained and qualified Palliative Care Nurse Practitioners. PCA urges the Taskforce to support and prioritise a palliative care focused review of the MBS. PCA supports MBS changes which will bolster the role of Nurse Practitioners including Palliative Care Nurse Practitioners.
