This submission to the Aged Care Taskforce provides feedback on Draft Aged Care Funding Principles. Consistent with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety,  palliative care must become “core business” in aged care. This vital reform cannot happen without sustainable funding arrangements. This submission describes key aspects of quality, appropriate and innovative care that a sustainable aged care funding model must support.
