This submission by PCA provides feedback to the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care on the Quality Use of Medicines and Medicines Safety: Discussion Paper for Public Consultation – Phase 1: Aged Care, intended to inform the development of the Quality Use of Medicines National Health Priority Area. PCA’s response addresses the needs of patients, the needs of prescribers, and access to clinical expertise and Advance Care Planning.
