Palliative Care for Chronic and End-Stage Kidney Disease Position Statement

A joint position statement from PCA and Kidney Health Australia regarding the importance of palliative care for people with chronic and end-stage kidney disease (CKD/ESKD). All people diagnosed with CKD/ESKD, and their family and carers should have access to palliative care and support from a multidisciplinary team, in conjunction with renal supportive care strategies, dialysis and transplantation to provide the best quality of life possible.
