Recognised globally as the premier palliative care conference in the southern hemisphere, over 800 industry leaders, experts, academics and practitioners from across Australia and beyond will gather at the 2023 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference (23OPCC) in Sydney from 13 – 15 September.

We were last together in person in 2019 so we are VERY excited to bring the sector back together for three days of invigorating conversation, challenging discussions, and valuable networking.

As we prepare to gather later this year, our health systems are under strain, health staff are experiencing burnout, and the need for a trained, sustainable palliative care workforce has never been greater. The conference theme; 'With the end in mind – shaping stronger health systems, delivering quality palliative care' seeks to elevate these issues and seek collaborative solutions.
