The last three years have been some of our sector’s most challenging.

You - our doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and volunteers have all stepped up and done your very best to support people and families, but as you know, the system is under pressure and reform, and greater investment are needed.

Our collaboration is powerful, and the upcoming 2023 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference (23OPCC) is an opportunity to reconnect as a community and renew our commitment to the delivery of quality palliative care.

We are very excited to bring the sector together for three days of invigorating conversations, dynamic learning, and valuable networking – all while having fun and building friendships.

Recognised globally as the premier palliative care conference in the southern hemisphere, over 800 industry leaders, experts, academics and practitioners from across Australia and beyond will gather at the International Convention Centre in Sydney from 13 – 15 September 2023.

The conference theme; ‘With the end in mind – shaping stronger health systems, delivering quality palliative care’ seeks to elevate the issues and ideas of the sector and seek collaborative solutions.

We need you to be there and contribute to this outstanding event, so as you start to build your calendar for 2023, make sure you save the date for 23OPCC; September 13 -15 in Sydney.

Registrations will open early in the new year, and we’ll have some exciting news to share about speakers and the program.
