Plans for the weekend? Don’t miss your chance to submit an abstract for 23OPCC!

Abstract submissions for the biggest, most prestigious palliative care conference in the Southern Hemisphere close at midnight this Sunday! Back yourself and have a go!

Now is the time to throw your name, work, and perspective into the mix for the 2023 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference.

So far, we have received abstract submissions that cover:

  • Residential aged care
  • Community palliative care
  • Virtual reality
  • Childhood dementia
  • Building volunteer capacity
  • Bereavement in diverse populations
  • Paramedics and palliative care
  • Opioids and cannabis
  • Voluntary assisted dying
  • And many more

There is a place for your voice and experience in the broad three day program - clinicians, academics, volunteers, consumers/patients, and carers from all parts of the health and palliative care sectors are encouraged to submit an abstract for consideration.

Submissions from the wider Oceanic region are especially welcome and special attention is being given to first-time applicants and presenters.
