A Project Advisory Group (PAG) has been formed to support the Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) project. The group includes representatives from general practice, nursing, pharmacy, people with lived experience, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and multicultural backgrounds, as well as rural and remote health, policy, and safety experts.

The PAG will help shape education programs and resources developed under the project to ensure they support health professionals and carers providing home-based palliative care to people in the terminal phase of life.

The PAG members represent leading organisations and include:

• Annette Sorianosos - Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA)
• Deborah Letica - National Register of Palliative Care Consumers and Carers (NRPCCR)
• Dr Elizabeth Hawkins - Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM)
• Joel Rhee - Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)
• Julia Arapova - Brisbane South Primary Health Network
• Juliane Samara - Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP)
• Kim Whiteley - CEO The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ageing and Aged Care Council (NATSIAACC)
• Lee Fong - Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care
• Marina Chand - World Wellness Group.

Together, this group is helping PCA ensure that the QUM project reflects the realities of care delivery across Australia and supports better outcomes for patients, families, and communities.
