Engage with over 800 leaders, influencers, and decision makers at 23OPCC!

The International Convention Centre in Sydney will host 23OPCC.

The year ahead will be a key marker in Australia’s growth and reform of the health and aged care sectors; and Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is looking to partner with corporate Australia in facilitating conversations that build a better future for our country.

At this critical time, organisations big and small can partner with PCA in the Oceanic Palliative Care Conference (23OPCC) in Sydney, and come face to face with the people who are central to delivering our healthcare.

“The palliative care sector comes together every two years for this conference, and it’s recognised as the premier conference to attend in the southern hemisphere,” says Gretchen Irvine, National Business Development and Events Manager, Palliative Care Australia.

“Perth in 2019 was the last time the sector was together face to face like this; our world has changed a lot since then which has only served to heighten anticipation for OPCC this September, at the International Convention Centre.”

Three days of invigorating conversations, challenging discussions, and valuable networking is planned around the theme, ‘With the End in Mind - shaping stronger health systems, delivering quality palliative care'.

“The palliative care sector is helping shape the health agenda at a national and local level; the speakers, workshops, and presentations we are planning for OPCC will add further weight and direction and I believe help make good on our need for stronger health systems,” Ms Irvine says.

“Given the scale of OPCC, our corporate partners are vital in staging a successful event, but the rewards go both ways. Partners will be front and centre with some of the most important conversations of the year, as government and community drive an ambitious reform agenda across aged care, disabilities, and the wider health sector.”

Early bird delegate registrations will open this month along with abstract submissions from potential speakers, but as the new year gets going corporate Australia is invited to consider one of the sponsorship packages in the 23OPCC prospectus.

“Palliative Care Australia exists to make a difference in people’s lives and help make sure people with life-limiting illness and their loved ones get the most out of the years, months, and weeks they have left – that’s what palliative care is,” Ms Irvine says.

“Companies and organisations who are inspired by our work and message and want to demonstrate their commitment to 'shaping stronger health systems and delivering quality palliative care' are invited to join us as a partner for OPCC and connect with over 800 delegates,” Ms Irvine says.
