PCA is keen to raise awareness about reconciliation and promote the referendum on a First Nations Voice to Parliament – it is an important step in our country’s reconciliation journey.

PCA’s vision for reconciliation is set out in our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and is connected to all Australians living well, with an embedded acknowledgement and respect for Australia’s First Peoples.

As the national peak body for palliative care, our mission is to influence the delivery of quality palliative care for all who need it, when and where they need it.

Important to this is that we acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures are dynamic and diverse across Australia, and that the integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions, values, and cultural practices, into policies, service delivery, and Australia's Constitution are critical.
