The conference (2022APPCC) will bring the sector together to collaborate and explore ways to improve the experience for infants, children and young people with life-limiting illnesses, their families, and care providers.

The conference will present a comprehensive program to share knowledge, skills and experiences, specifically for paediatric palliative care across Australia and New Zealand.

The Paediatric Palliative Care Project represents a unique opportunity to build the capacity of the Australian health care system to respond to the specialist needs of children with life-limiting conditions. The project brings together two peak bodies with the capability and content knowledge to deliver outcomes that will be crucial to enhancing palliative care for infants, children and young people.

This event is a deliverable of the Paediatric Palliative Care National Action Plan Project which represents a unique opportunity to build the capacity of the Australian health care system to respond to the specialist needs of infants, children  and young people with life-limiting conditions. This project is in collaboration with PCA and PaPCANZ, and is funded by the Australian Government.

On behalf of the organising committees and all involved, we look forward to having you join us in advancing knowledge about paediatric palliative care in Australia and New Zealand.
