Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is the peak national organisation representing the interests and aspirations of all who share the ideal of quality care at the end of life.

Formed in 1991 as the Australian Association for Hospice and Palliative Care Inc. the organisation has grown to a full-scale national network with member organisations in each state and territory.

The positive, innovative, close-knit team at PCA works tirelessly to achieve optimal outcomes for every individual and ensure the highest quality of knowledge and care is provided to the community.

Our office is located on Canberra Avenue in Griffith, ACT.

Aged Care Policy Advisor

Employment status:  Part-time (22.8 hrs/week) up to full-time hours

Employment period: 12 months, with possible extension

Preferred Location:  Canberra, ACT

Communications Officer

Employment status:  Full-time 

Employment period: On-going

Preferred Location:  Canberra, ACT

 Annual Salary:  range of $75,000 – $80,000, PLUS super, PLUS salary packaging options

Reporting to the Manager Communications, Engagement and Media, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and delivering the communications and stakeholder engagement strategy. This includes assisting with all aspects of communications and social media management, writing articles and media releases, media monitoring and reporting, website management and engaging and managing relationships with partners, members and other stakeholders.
