PCA Pre-Budget Submission 2016-2017
PCA's 2016-2017 pre-budget submission outlines three priority areas to achieve high quality end-of-life care: access to care, the dying to talk campaign, and support for families and carers. PCA is calling on the Australian Government to fund these important initiatives to support people and their families with the everyday complexities of living with life-limiting conditions. Investment in good palliative care has the dual advantage of improving the lives of people with a life-limiting illness through to their death, while also realising savings to the health budget.
