Submission on the Aged Care Financing Authority Respite Care Consultation - April 2018

This submission by PCA provides input on the Aged Care Financing Authority Respite Care Consultation. Respite care provides support for carers and the people they care for, and therefore should be an integral component of palliative care. Yet the availability of appropriate respite care options for people receiving palliative care is an issue of high importance. PCA recommends that a targeted consultation with the palliative care sector be undertaken to assist in informing the future models of respite care.
