This submission, prepared by PCA, provides commentary on elements of the draft Report from the Pain Management Clinical Committee to the MBS Taskforce. Palliative care is broader than pain management. As the Taskforce is committed to providing recommendations related to affordable, best-practice, and universal access to the health system, PCA urges the Taskforce to support a palliative care focused review of the MBS, leveraging off the pain management review.
