Skills to Build Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing Webinar

Not daunted by postponing the 2020 Palliative Care SA Conference “Better Together: Connecting Palliative and Aged Care”, Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) and the Wellbeing and Resilience Centre at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) are very pleased to have joined together to present the Skills to Build Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing webinar. At this time, we need to hugely value the strength and resilience of our aged care workforce and health professionals providing services to the aged.

The focus will be on understanding mental health, mindfulness: practical strategies for improving focus and mental clarity and positive emotions as a fuel for resilience

Date: 21st May 2020
Time: 1.00pm to 2.00pm
Aim: To provide staff with the understanding, skills and strategies to maintain their wellbeing as
they care for their clients, each other and themselves.
Cost: FREE

Kim Seow (pictured), Business Development and Training Lead at SAHMRI’s
Wellbeing and Resilience Centre will present the session.

Professor Greg Crawford, Chairman PCSA Board, senior consultant in Palliative Medicine with Northern Adelaide Palliative Service and Professor of Palliative
Medicine at Adelaide University will host the webinar.
