VIC: PEPA Culture Centred Care – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives Workshop

Attend this Workshop to understand issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with their journey into the dreaming.

Delivered by VACCHO, this FREE interactive one-day Workshop will focus on understanding cultural safety from an Aboriginal perspective.

  • Importance of kinship

  • Communication issues

  • ‘Sorry business’

Morning tea and Lunch provided

Target Audience:

Palliative Care providers, and healthcare professionals who care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with a life-limiting illness

Time:

10.00am to 3.00pm (arrive at 9.30am for registration)

Cost:

FREE with morning tea and lunch included
