The National Palliative Care
Standards Community of Practice
About the Community of Practice
The National Palliative Care Standards Community of Practice brings together health professionals, aged care providers, educators, leaders and quality improvement staff from across Australia to support the implementation of the National Palliative Care Standards.
The Community of Practice provides opportunities to learn from colleagues, explore practical examples of how the Standards are being embedded into everyday practice, and share ideas, resources and service stories that support high-quality palliative care.
Each month, members explore one of the National Palliative Care Standards through webinars, practical resources and discussion, with a focus on translating the Standards into meaningful improvements in care. Members are encouraged to reflect on their own practice, learn from the experiences of others and use the Palliative Care Self-Assessment (PaCSA) to support quality improvement within their own service.
Whether you work in specialist palliative care, primary care, hospitals, residential aged care or community services, the Community of Practice provides a welcoming space to connect with colleagues, exchange knowledge and strengthen palliative care across Australia.
