I am seeking a palliative care consumer and carer representative

The National Register is designed to assist consumers and carers to actively engage in palliative care health policy, service delivery and reform activities on a national level. The knowledge and experience of this Register are recommended to governments and organisations looking to:

  • Interact and engage in a respectful manner with people receiving palliative care or caring for someone receiving palliative care
  • Develop and/or provide support programs for people receiving palliative care or caring for someone receiving palliative care
  • Create policy to support people receiving palliative care or caring for someone receiving palliative care

Organisations may seek to have representatives positioned on national committees, boards, working groups and evaluations, or to advise on the development of a new project, program or service.

For more information about the consumer and carer representatives you can engage with,  individual bios for each representative can be found here.
