  2. The Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) has launched a Scottish Parliament election manifesto calling for improved palliative care for babies, children and young people in Scotland.

  3. The ABC has focused on Australian health this week, publishing many stories about the end of life and advance care plans.

  4. On 15 March 2015 representatives from the National Cancer Centre in Tokyo, Japan met with PCA staff on request to gain a better understanding of the National Standards Assessment Program.

  5. Today PCA attended a Roundtable discussion at Parliament House hosted by the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia and the National Ageing Research Institute. The aim of the roundtable was to develop a research agenda and a plan of action to further advance understanding of the needs of older CALD Australians.

  6. PCA is a member of the Silver Chain Consumer Engagement National Reference Group, and this group will meet tomorrow in Canberra. The purpose of the group is to provide advice to Silver Chain about issues affecting consumers.
