Community Forum: Diversity and Palliative and End-of-Life Care – 26 November

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is joining with Palliative Care South Australia to provide a forum on diversity and palliative care and end-of-life care. Death literacy is the practical know how needed to plan well for end of life. Being involved in end of life conversations and care is one of the best ways to become death literate.

Through facilitated discussion and a Q&A attendees will be encouraged to talk about their perceptions, experiences, fears and ideas about what is a good death? It is an opportunity to understand more about palliative care but also to tell us your thoughts about the design and delivery of that care and how a generic palliative care system can respect and meet the unique individual and cultural needs of all South Australians.

When: Thursday 26 November 2015
Time: 10:00am – 12:30pm – Light lunch will be provided
Where: Regency Green Multicultural Aged Care 181-193 Days Road, Regency Park, South Australia
Cost: FREE
