Canberra – palliAGED Launch

Canberra – palliAGED Launch
25 May 2017  – Parliament House – Invitation only
8.00 – 10.00am

palliAGED is an online palliative care resource being funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and built by the CareSearch Project Team, Flinders University. Officially being launched on May 25 by the Minister of Ageing, Hon Ken Wyatt AM, MP at Parliament House Canberra, palliAGED will be the place to go for evidence, tools, guidance and practice resources about palliative care for older Australians.

The information and resources will support all those involved in caring for older Australians approaching the end of their life. This includes nurses and care workers in residential aged care or community care, GPs and general practice nurses, allied health professionals and support staff. There will also be information and resources for older people and their families.
