Canberra – High Tea at The Lodge

High Tea at the Lodge

Palliative Care ACT is hosting a High Tea at the Lodge as a fundraising event for their home-based volunteer program.

Tickets are $100 and include a glass of local bubbles on arrival. Enjoy tea, coffee and an assortment of delicious cakes and savoury treats.

Around 80 percent of Australians prefer to die in their own home, yet only 14 percent actually do. The demand for our home-based services is increasing weekly and we urgently need to train more volunteers to provide support to those who wish to die at home and their families.

Palliative Care ACT wish to acknowledge the Honourable Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister of Australia, and Ms Lucy Turnbull AO, for enabling this function to be held at The Lodge.
