The work of Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is guided by a robust governance structure led by the PCA Board.
The PCA Board is elected by secret ballot for a three year term at alternate PCA Annual General Meetings.

Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) is Palliative Care Australia’s patron. He has been actively involved in supporting PCA in his role, giving generously of his time to support projects such as the Lone Pine Hospice Project in support of veterans and hosting events for National Palliative Care Week.
